ACL & Ligament Repair

Arthroscopic ACL and ligament reconstruction to restore a stable, strong knee.

Overview

About ACL & Ligament Repair

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the key ligaments that keeps the knee stable. It is commonly torn during sports that involve twisting, jumping or sudden stops, and the knee may feel unstable afterwards.

ACL reconstruction is done arthroscopically (keyhole surgery), replacing the torn ligament with a graft, followed by a structured rehabilitation programme.

  • Multi-ligament knee injuries

Frequently Asked Questions

A completely torn ACL usually does not heal by itself. Some less active people manage with physiotherapy, but active people often need reconstruction.
